We are Creative Curtains and Blinds, established in Hailsham, East Sussex in 2002. We design and install curtains, blinds, shutters and external solar shading for residential, hospitality and commercial clients across the South East and beyond.

We started as a curtain and blind business in 2002, serving the homes and hotels of East Sussex. Over twenty years we have built expertise across all four window treatment disciplines — curtains, blinds, shutters and external solar shading — and developed a reputation for installation quality and technical knowledge that brings architects and designers back to us project after project.
We are one of only seven UK companies authorised to install MicroLouvre® external solar screens. We provide TM59 compliance data, BREEAM documentation and NBS specification clauses to architects specifying for Part O compliance. We have installed in Grade I and Grade II listed buildings, independent schools, boutique hotels and single-room domestic renovations — and we apply the same standard of care to all of them.
We do not use subcontractors for installation. The person who measures is the person who installs. If something is wrong, the person who comes back to fix it is the same person.
Hailsham Showroom,
East Sussex.
Our showroom is at 9 North Street, Hailsham, BN27 1DQ. We have fabric samples from all major suppliers, working motorisation demonstrations and the full external shading range on display. We are open Monday to Friday 9–5:30 and Saturday 9–4. All visits welcome, appointments preferred.
We visit homes, hotels, schools and commercial buildings throughout Sussex, Kent, Surrey and London for measured surveys and installation. We take on projects further afield for the right brief.

No subcontractors
We use our own fitters for every installation. The person who measures is the person who installs. Snagging is handled by the same person who did the job.
Technical honesty
We will tell you if internal blinds are not the right answer for your Part O compliance requirement. We will not sell you something that does not do the job.
Real expertise
We provide TM59 compliance data, BREEAM documentation and NBS clauses to architects. We understand the difference between specifying for a planning application and specifying for a client.
